Autumn 2009

Swimming Pool Winterization:
Professional Winterization of your swimming pool will include: Lowering the water level to 18” below the top, Basic cleaning of pool, water testing and adjustment, chemicals are additional, removal and storage of accessories, winterization of plumbing and pool filter equipment, covering the pool. Please inform us if there are any special instructions for our staff concerning the winterization of your swimming pool.
Cost - $385.00 plus chemicals and supplies.

Spa or Hot Tub Winterization:
Professional Winterization of your spa or hot tub will include: Emptying the vessel, purging the circulation system plumbing and equipment of any water, Flushing with Antifreeze. Manufactured spas will be left empty, wood hot tubs will have the internal plumbing plugged and water will be refilled to approximately 18”. The cover will be secured with the standard cover latches. Please inform us if there are any special instructions for our staff concerning the winterization of your spa or hot tub. Manufacturer’s warranties do not cover freeze damage. Due to the nature of the plumbing in many spas, Harbor Hot Tubs will not warranty against freeze damage.
Cost - $195.00 plus chemicals and supplies.

Winter Watch Pool Service:
Includes monthly (more frequent if weather dictates) inspection of pool, cover, water quality, and pool equipment area. Covers will be checked for security and cleaned of debris as needed, water level will be maintained below coping and tile to prevent freeze damage. Water quality will be monitored to help assure the water is clear when the pool is opened. Winter watch will commence in November and cease after the April visit
Cost - $295.00 for season plus chemicals.

Winter Pump Service:
Removal and Storage of pump motors in our Climate Controlled Warehouse, Complete Cleaning of Pool Motor, lube job, bench test and as needed, painting of the motor housing with protective paint. Mechanical parts will be replaced as needed (parts are additional).
Cost - $100.00 per pump.

AutoFill Contact:
Your Automatic Fill Supply line may be connected through your sprinkler system, it may be run from your domestic water system or from an outside spigot. We are not responsible for winterizing these connections. We will make a call on your behalf to your plumbing or irrigation contractor to help facilitate the proper winterization of this important item. We will not be responsible for broken auto fill lines.
